I’m utterly delighted to be featured once again in Modern Bride magazine! Please check out the December/January 2009 issue on page 148 for the complete instructions to make your own adorable candle & matchbook favors. These are among my favorite projects and I use them for all sorts of occasions, not just weddings.
Please check out other projects from DIY Bride in past issues of Modern Bride: August/September 08 and June/July 08.

Something new is coming to DIYBride.com!
Next month I’ll be formally announcing the DIY Bride Workshops, a series of online classes and seminars that are designed specifcally for do-it-yourselfers. If you’re looking for fun, easy-to-follow crafting projects and solid, budget-friendly planning advice I’m certain you’ll love what’s in store for you.
Our first workshop, Going Digital 101: Using Photoshop to Create Kick-Ass Invites, kicks off the series in December. Registration and workshop information will be coming soon.
This has been something I’ve wanted to do for years and finally have the opportunity and ability to make it happen. I hope you’ll be as excited as I am!

I’m very proud to be featured in two of the hottest wedding magazines on the planet right now.
One of the projects from the book, a super fun save-the-date, in the June/July issue of Modern Bride.
For those of you in the UK, do rush out and grab a copy of the June/July issue of Cosmopolitan Bride. The magazine re-design is gorgeous. I have a tiny section of tips in 50 Fabulous Finishing Touches article.

If you’re following along with recent posts, you’ll know I’m moving this month. To lighten my load, I’m giving away 2 more copies of my book The DIY Bride: 40 Fun Projects For Your Ultimate One-of-a-Kind Wedding.
Just leave a comment in response to this post between now and Sunday, 4/13. I’ll pick 2 random winners on Monday 4/14.
**I ask that only brides-to-be (and grooms, too) enter the contest, please. Since they’re the ones in the most need of the info & inspiration in the book, I strongly feel they’re the ones who should have the opportunity to win a copy. Thanks for your understanding!**
Good luck!
