CHA: Live Blogging & Twittering
Hey DIYers,
Tomorrow I’ll be heading to CHA, the Craft & Hobby Association’s big trade show for the craft industry that’s held on Sunday and Monday. CHA is where hundreds of craft companies of all kinds showcase their new products to retailers & media in the craft industry. While I’m there I’ll be blogging and twittering about the cool wedding craft-related products I find.
If you’re not yet following me on Twitter, you can find me at http://www.twitter.com/diybride . For my CHA-related posts, search for the hashtag #diycha and that’ll bring up my CHA-only posts. (In the twitter search field, just type in #diycha.)
I’ll likely blog once or twice while I’m there. I’m not yet sure what the wifi situation is at the venue or my hotel. Check back here for updates.
If you’re attending the trade show, I’ll be signing copies of my new book, The Crafty Countdown, on Sunday 11/24 from 11 am – 12 pm in the R & M West Coast booth (#4212) at the Craft & Hobby Association Winter Trade Show. Please stop by and say hello!

Hey DIYers,
I’ll be dedicating an entire week to wedding crafts that are made with recycled materials. This is something near and dear to my heart because I’m a packrat thrifty recycler who adores rescuing and re-purposing items.
I – and the entire DIY community – would love it if you shared your recycled projects with us for the showcase. Just send us your project details + pictures using the form below by October 23rd. (You can send project anytime, by the way! We love showing off the work of our talented readers.)

Hey DIYers,
The April issue of Crafts ‘n Things magazine is on the shelves and there’s a project from my book in it! Check out page 28 for Crystal Drop Cake Jewelry and a short & sweet review of the book. There are other cool wedding projects inside from different contributors.
I’ve seen the magazine at large book sellers and I found this issue in my local grocery store today.
