Khris Cochran, Founder + Chief
Khris Cochran is the founder and editor of DIY Bride. When she’s not buried in piles of cardstock and mounds of glitter, she’s spending time with her family and friends.
Rachael Oliver, Real Weddings Contributor
Hello All! Since they say admitting your problem is the first step, my name is Rachel and I am wedding obsessed. I am a wife, mom, student, fashion veteran, wedding consultant, and wannabe entrepreneur. A tried and true New Yorker, I live in the beautiful Hudson Valley about 90 minutes from Manhattan. While I am surrounded by history and nature, I spend most of my time chasing a two year old, pinning away craft projects, design ideas, and ogling amazing weddings. Sometimes, I get the chance to test the ideas and share them with friends, family or prospective brides. As the proud new contributor to DIY Bride’s Real Weddings, I hope that I will not only get to nurse my wedding obsession, but share with you the amazingly crafty, budget friendly ideas that every day people create that can turn any event into a meaningful celebration.
Jennie Yang, Sales
Jennie Yang is a wife, a mom to a super cute Pomeranian named Machi (Taiwanese slang for “best friend”), and a fellow DIY bride. Currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia, she spends most of her time following wedding and fashion trend, and when she’s not, she’s gardening in her community garden and crafting homemade cards. As the newest addition to the DIY Bride family, she hopes to help fellow DIY brides and readers find their vendors for one of the most important days in their lives!
