Other Places I Love To Visit
My biggest DIY dilemma is decision-making! I consider myself super crafty (although totally humbled by your blog)… But I’m constantly finding/coming up with DIY projects for my wedding and it’s kind of overwhelming. I had a dream the other night about escort cards… I think I might need a 12-step program.
I have big aspirations for creating things for my wedding (center pieces, invitations, gifts, etc) but have not had that creative spark hit me yet. I definitely need some ideas to get me going!
The Cricut Cake really rocked my crafty world. Loved it!
My biggest issue is there are so many ideas out there that I want to do EVERYTHING myself, even though I realize it may not be realistic. I’ve also turned into an insomniac, staying up every night searching for wedding ideas online!
I have been hopelessly searching online for great ideas for do-it-yourself centerpieces, favors, etc. My most recent idea was putting silver branches into a lighted vase for centerpieces…when sharing my idea with my fiance, he replied “we are putting dead painted branches on tables, I DON’T THINK SO!…”. apparently I need some help from a professional! To all other brides out there, good luck with the planning! I am trying to enjoy every minute of this time because I hear it flies by! I hope you are all doing the same!
I was flipping though your book “The DIY Bride Crafty Countdown” at the bookstore the other day, and I fell in *love* with the wood laminate invitations! My fiance and I want our wedding to have a “rustic fall” feel, if that even makes any sense
, and those invitations seem to fit our idea perfectly! The centerpieces that we’re in the process of creating include glass cylinders sitting on a slice of wood. And I thought it would be so neat to create those invitations to help tie everything together. However, I’ve been a little discouraged by trying to find all of the right materials. It’s just so overwhelming! I consider myself a somewhat crafty person, but when it comes down to it, all of the tools and techniques just seem so foreign! I’m really interested in doing several DIY projects for the ceremony and reception, and I believe that your books would help tremendously! Thank you so much for this opportunity and for considering me for this giveaway!
