How Can DIY Bride Better Help You?

Posted by Khris in DIYBride News

In an effort to better serve you, I’ve created the poll (below) to help me focus on the areas of DIY you’re interested in. I’d be delighted if you’d take a moment to tell me what you want.

Please feel free to add suggestions in the comments or shoot me an email via the contact form, too.

Thank you!

I think my response would differ depending on what I was working on at the moment. I love all the projects you’ve shown so far. Keep up the excellent work!

Just a comment- I think what people need/want most also depends on what planning stage they are in.

I’m trying to figure out cool and inexpensive invitation ideas currently, although eco-friendly projects are also always fun & interesting. To me the DIY is about two major things:
    1. Having my wedding personal & “my own”
    2. Saving money
The two do not always go hand-in-hand…

I could have voted for more than one! I know everyone loves invitations and stationery, but I feel like lots of sites and mags feature advice in that DIY category. That said, all of your work and advice are amazing; thanks!

I would love to see more ideas for table decor. I am planning a Coastal /”elegant beach” theme – and all I can find a cheesy ideas. I have seen a lot of diffrent things, but i would love to see more of your take on that. Thanks for all of the amazing ideas you put out there! :)

I loved the handmade recycled paper invites, but they are so expensive. Making paper sounded fun & interesting so I tried it this weekend- I’ll post more on this in the invites section. :-)

I’d love to see more on wedding attire- I’m still contemplating whether it’s doable to make my own dress by Oct 09 but I definitely want to make other accessories like a veil.
