Fab Finds Friday: bklyn pillow

Posted by Khris in Fab Finds Friday

Fab Finds Friday is a weekly showcase of some of the fabulous resources available to the wedding community. This week’s wedding goodness comes to you from bklyn pillow.

With as much creativity and innovation that the wedding industry has fostered in the past few years alone, it’s odd that the ring pillow has been frozen in some 1980′s time warp of design. You know the ones I’m talking about, right? Those white satin with strings o’ pearl deals that seem to appear in every mass bridal retailer’s catalogs? Yeah, those. Bleah.

Don’t despair! Sweet pillowy relief is here, my style-conscious friends. The wonderfully creative Vané Broussard, editor of Brooklyn Bride blog, has introduced her own line of handcrafted ring pillows. Available in a range of hip, modern and fashion fabrics, Vane’s designs elevate the humble pillow into a stylish accessory worthy of carrying your wedding rings.

(How adorable are these?!)

    Hi,
First of all I have to say that I am married to a wonderful man for almost 13 years. We didn’t have a big budget when we were getting married plus we had a baby on our way. I designed the invitations myself, my mother-in-law paid for a nice barbecue party and my parents had their big garden decorated for the wedding. For my wedding dress I had it designed myself and made by a handy friend of mine. My brother-in-law does photography as hobby and did our pictures. My uncle drives for a limousine company so driving us to the register office in the limo was his present to us. The flowers just came from a flower shop. It all sounds very simple but you know what: nobody would have guessed it, the wedding was beautiful, the weather warm, food great, I felt like a princess and I was married to this handsome man!!!!! Best wedding ever without breaking the bank. It doesn’t matter if the wedding is expensive or not, the most important thing is that you are getting married with this person you are sharing the rest of your life with in good and bad days.

We’ve been looking for ring bearer pillow that don’t suck! Finding something to fit in our “modern” theme has been really hard. I love these from bklyn pillow. Thank you!
