Fab Finds Friday: Albert Zoll and Dial DIR-ECT-IONS

Posted by Khris in Fab Finds Friday

Fab Finds Friday is a new feature that starts today. Each week I will showcase some of the awesome resources available to the wedding community.

I’m kicking it off with 2 fab companies this week: Albert Zoll and Dial Dir-ect-ions.

For those of you in need of sewing/millinery supplies, Albert Zoll is your new go-to spot! They carry a wide range of notions and other wonderful goodies for all of your attire needs. Check out their bridal category for everything you need for DIY veils. They also have a very nice selection of rhinestones, trims, and tulle, and even some pretty pre-made items.

This next find is one of the coolest ideas I’ve seen in quite a while. Dial Dir-ect-ions is ..”a free service that lets any cell phone users get directions to any event from any starting point. Users simply dial “DIR-ECT-IONS” (347-328-4667), speak their starting location and destination (address / intersection or event), and the service instantly sends driving directions by text message.

Brides can have their wedding, bridal shower or bachelorette party supported in Dial Directions simply by self-publishing the event location at www.dialdirections.com. After posting, brides can tell their guests to get directions by dialing DIR-ECT-IONS and saying the event name. In addition to directions, the service also provides event details, such as date and time. By simply making a free phone call, guests can get instant driving directions to any wedding event.” [info directly from their press release]

A small warning here: The service isn’t available everywhere yet. The good news is that over 1,800 cities have coverage.
