Real Simple Weddings Mag at C & B

Posted by Khris in DIY Library

Real Simple Weddings

The great talents at Real Simple magazine has just made their 2009 weddings magazine available exclusively at Crate & Barrel stores and online. A little heads up: it costs $13.95 (not including shipping if you order online).

The 2008 version was beautifully done and had a lot of great advice and ideas. If you’re a fan of Real Simple, the weddings magazine was a definite “must have” for your library. I still have (and love) mine!

Note: Please note that I have no affiliation with C & B or Real Simple. I am not selling or offering this magazine through DIY Bride and cannot send you a copy.

I can’t tell you how much I’ve been looking for that newest issue for FOREVER. I’ve searched high and low, just to find out it’s at a store nowhere withing reach and will cost $20 total ordering it online?

    It’s so worth it.

I have the 2008 version and absolutely love it and was sooo looking forward to the 2009. But then when the 2009 version finally came out, I went and looked through it at Crate & Barrel and decided it wasn’t worth the money. Unfortunately very little was added or changed from the 2008 version. The weddings in the little mini-features at the begining of each chapter are different, but all the information and the question/answers within the chapters are exactly the same. There’s a couple areas where they added new content, including some pictures of bridesmaid dresses and more wedding gown pictures, but not enough, in my opinion, to make it worth buying something nearly identical to what I already have. Very unfortunate because the first one was wonderful! :(

I saw this at the grocery store the other day! I live in Texas so I’m not sure if this is available nationwide at other grocery stores. It was $13.95 and you don’t have to pay shipping!

You can get this at Costco for 20 or 30% off the cover price. I happened to see 2008′s there last year, and made a point to look for 2009 and was able to pick it up this week.
