Happy Anniversary!! We are making a ton for our wedding next fall! We are making our own cookbook favors (we started dating because we were coworkers who started cooking together); our own placecards; our own menu cards; calligraphying our own envelopes, etc., etc., etc!

I would actually use this to help my two engaged friends who are getting married next year to create stationery and favors. Both of them are so different but really creative, so I know we’ll have a blast!

Our wedding is approximately five weeks away and so much yet to do. I need to make a contraption to collect gift envelopes that doesn’t look like some dopey wrapped present with a drop slot in the top. Something more clever but haven’t decided. what.

Happy 8th and 11th anniversary! What a splendid giveaway!

I plan on doing the following DIY: all stationary (I’ve already handmade the save the dates, so all that’s left: invitations, programs, maps, place cards, menus, etc), OOT gifts, bunting, a few receptions games including cornhole and hopefully Bocce ball, photobooth area, some decorations, bunting, and favors. May seem like a lot but I have five weeks of NOTHING to do before the wedding! Yay summer and winter breaks! (I’m current in nursing school.)

Our wedding is next June =)

Oh wow, great stuff! I’m definitely going to be doing all DIY paper goods (invites, STDs, menus, etc) so this is pretty much all stuff I was planning on buying anyway! Other things that might make it onto my DIY list: table decorations including paper flowers, lanterns, send-off dried flower packet thingies.

Happy anniversary! I’m already married, but we did a lot of DIY projects for our wedding. Some of the things we did were: Chalkboard menus for the receptions, all our paper products (invitations, programs, save the dates, etc.), centerpieces, and tons of other things.

I am getting married next year, and so is my best friend! So I’d be sure to share the wealth with her. The helpers I’ve enlisted (my sisters and friends) would really appreciate all the tools of the trade as we are growing our own flowers for the event, making invitations and dessert, and doing the photography on our own. Thank you!

Next week my sister and I are making hanging vases from blue Bell mason jars. It will be a pretty way to sprinkle flowers through the trees. We are collecting (hoarding?) jars for centerpieces, too. The aqua jars will coordinate with her hubby-to-be’s beautiful baby blues.

As well as all my other stationary (reply cards, maps, travel info, menu etc) I will also be hand painting wedding signage. I’m going to try my hand at screen printing oot bags and ceremony handkerchiefs. Fiance is working on a diy photo-booth. I’m making the boutonniere, bridesmaids bouquet and my bouquet. We are also doing our centerpieces and hand decorating sugar cookies as part of our save the dates and will be making our grooms cake. So much to do so little time. My wedding is next August and I will be making a lot of the decorations, the ceremony backdrops, centerpieces, the favors, seating chart/cards, pretty much everything that I can make, I will! I’m determined to do my own flowers as well.

But, more important is my big sister’s wedding which is January 1. We are both are tight budgets, and this package would really give me the tools to help my sister out since she works 6 days a week and doesn’t have a lot of extra time or energy for crafting.

Happy Anniversaries! And, even though I’m in the engaged stage, I have to stay that with every DIY project that my fiance and I take on together, we learn a lot and really brings us together! So thank you for the inspiration to have a DIY wedding!

I have so many DIY projects in the table to get done before our 10 March wedding it’s going to be quite the challenge. Storybook invites where I need to complose Our Story before making mini books with a story leadining up to our wedding and then our invitations, peacock feather shoe clips and hair clips and bag clips, stamped and embossed feather favours in vials, my veil (!), table settings and antique book decorations in the form of book chandeliers and vases – it’s going to be so much work, but so good.
