I love envelopments, and I’m actually about to apply to be a designer. For my wedding, I was definitely a DIY bride for all of my print materials. I’m a trained graphic designer, so I had a blast doing it. Since then, I decided to start my own graphic design company doing wedding invitations (which you can see on my blog). With my best friend’s and my sisters weddings coming up, plus all the bridal clients I already have lined up, having a tool like this could only make things easier for assembling. Thanks!

  2. Carmen Santiago | February 23, 2010 at 11:58 am

I would love to win the Jigster!! I already have my perfect wedding invitation in my mind. I was already dreading making sure it was layered perfectly!

    Pick Me!!

  3. Erika | February 23, 2010 at 12:01 pm

Passing the 8 months away point today, the need to get started on my save the dates is ever-pressing! With the JIGster, I’ll create the Save-The-Dates, wish cards (instead of a guest book), tags for the favors and menus for our guests.

  4. Caitlin | February 23, 2010 at 12:04 pm

I would use this for ALL of my paper products for my wedding including the menu, programs, song list (for our 2-hour ultimate wedding dance party) and perhaps even the invitations. Thanks!

  33. Eden | February 23, 2010 at 2:05 pm

My fiance and I are getting married in October. With my experience in graphics arts and publication design for work, we’re saving money by doing all of our save the dates, invitations, programs, and wedding favors ourselves. Our invitations, programs, and wedding favors all involve layers – vellum, cardstock, 60# paper. A Jigster would totally come in handy, especially with the wedding favors which are personalized layered cook booklets that match the look of our invitations.

  34. Kristina | February 23, 2010 at 2:17 pm

I am a wedding and event planner and help my clients with DIY projects all the time. This tool will help me to help them have beautiful invitations, programs, escort cards, menu cards, the list is endless! :)

I’m so excited that this tool exists. I didn’t know how I was going to get my layers to fit perfectly. This tool would help so much with my construction. 53. Emily | February 23, 2010 at 1:05 pm

  63. Beth | February 23, 2010 at 6:58 pm

After exploring some of my invitation options, I was shocked at the price I’d have to pay to have someone else do my invitations. I was also unhappy to find that I wasn’t super excited about anything I’ve seen so far. I’d love to be able to create my own suite of invitations with the JIGster. Plus, I see even more fun in my future with this machine: birthdays, christmas and thinking-of-you cards? Yes please!

  108. Katie | February 24, 2010 at 2:16 pm

First off, HOLY CRAP. I wish I would have known this thing existed earlier!

My table numbers, programs and seating cards are done, but oh how awesome it would be to use this thing on my invitations and menus! The invitations are my most complex items that I am DIY-ing for the wedding, so it would just freaking rule to have the JIGster!

  109. Rusha | February 24, 2010 at 5:44 pm

There are so many things I would use this for including our wedding stationary, favor hang tags, and OOT bag hang tags. So cool!

  110. Jessica | February 24, 2010 at 6:30 pm

This will be perfect for my life! Huge DIYer and this will get its “money’s worth” with invites, STDs, seat placements, cards, etc…

  111. Becky | February 24, 2010 at 6:55 pm

We will be doing all the invites and other paper products ourselves. This will help me keep from pulling my hair out by trying to keep everything straight!

  112. Caitlin | February 24, 2010 at 7:41 pm

This would help me soooooo much.

I’ve been engaged for over a year now and would have LOVED to start getting things done for my wedding starting the day after.. but our budget is pretty small, and we’ve been seriously struggling with trying to find a place to get married.

We finally found a place last week.. (a new friend offered her families barn and land!) and I’m frantically trying to get things done before our wedding date; Sept. 25!

All of my bridesmaids and family live at least a state away and I currently don’t know ANYONE in the new city me and my fiance’ just moved to… so this would be a GREAT help to me and my crazy DIY wedding invitation endeavors!!

  113. girlrobot | February 24, 2010 at 8:00 pm

I would use it for invitations for my upcoming housewarming party and also to help out my many friends who are getting married!

  114. Linda | February 24, 2010 at 8:26 pm

I’d use it to make invites, menus, and cards!

  115. Anthony Romano | February 24, 2010 at 9:51 pm

Now that I’ve seen the demo video, I am totally picking up what you are putting down!! This tool is a MUST-HAVE…and I MUST HAVE ONE!!!

  116. Kristen Bussanich | February 24, 2010 at 10:02 pm

The jigster has definitely been on my wish list! I’ll use it for all things wedding and whatever other projects pop up.

  117. brianne sheppard | February 24, 2010 at 10:42 pm

This would be just lovely for the invites… I could definetly use a little help.. I’d even do a little “Jig” if i won :)

  118. mego! | February 24, 2010 at 9:35 pm

Hey! my fiance & i are getting married on MAY DAY 2010! since he just enlisted in the navy, im trying to slip in subtle Navy details throughout the wedding, but im finding it very hard to find Navy details that arent cheesey, pirate related or beach related. This forces me to make alot of the details myself, such as programs, seating charts, seating cards, table numbers, etc.

    anyways! thanks for this giveaway!

    mego!

This tool looks amazing!! I am currently tackling my first DIY projects–Save the Dates (from the first DIY book, the one with the wheel!!) and Wedding invitations and I am sure to use this tool. It’s already been great fun, and I hope to create many more DIY projects :)

  120. jd | February 25, 2010 at 9:09 am

Wedding invitations… then whatever fun projects I can get my hands on after!

  121. Amanda L. | February 25, 2010 at 9:51 am

Ooo this would be perfect for the invites! One less thing for me to stress over!

  122. Katherine Lundquist | February 25, 2010 at 11:06 am

I have never seen this before, but I definitly need one.

  123. Sarah Soon-To-Be | February 25, 2010 at 11:29 am

I’m planning my wedding long distance and will be without the fiance for 2 whole months – lots of time for DIYing! STD, invites, placecards, menus, programs… homemade greeting cards, christmas gifts, at-home photo framing… anytime I get my hands on a great piece of paper!

  124. Josh | February 25, 2010 at 11:45 am

If we had a JIGster, we’d use it for EVERYTHING. I’m talking invites, programs, thank-yous… you name it. Heck, I’d use it on our cake if I could figure out how. I hope we win it, so we can have the world’s more JIGstered wedding!

  125. Lindsay S. | February 25, 2010 at 12:45 pm

These will definitely be put to good use for our very complicated, multi-layered invitations. I need this!!

  126. Rona | February 25, 2010 at 12:53 pm

DIY is the theme of my wedding so needless to say, I will be doing all the invitations myself as well. I have a multi-layered invite set. The JIGster will be so useful..and my bridesmaids will thank you. :)

  127. Jennifer | February 25, 2010 at 10:15 am

OMG! I think (no, I know) that the Jigster will help eleviate the sweaty palms and crossed eyes that I get EVERY time I work on a layered project. I work on quite a few layered panel cards for weddings and other events. When it’s time to assemble, I get so nervous because I notice the slightest imperfection and lining up each card can be…well, eye crossing!

  128. Meridee | February 25, 2010 at 1:41 pm

I’m constantly coming up with WAY more complicated ideas than I could ever *easily, efficiently* execute. This will SO help with the wedding invites, but will also contribute to my general card-making addiction! (Don’t feel guilty, though. I can totally control it… at times.)

  129. Jennifer | February 25, 2010 at 2:29 pm

Whoo HOO! Am wedding invitation designer – how much time have I wasted with eyes crossed, fingers gummy, and a HUGE pile of rejects, trying to get card stock lined up perfectly! Keeping fingers crossed I win ; )

    Jennifer

  130. Cara | February 25, 2010 at 3:53 pm

THIS IS A MUST HAVE!! It looks unbelievably easy from the video. If I win this, I will be able to DIY with confidence on all my paper items!

    *fingers crossed*

  131. karen | February 25, 2010 at 6:20 pm

oooh, this would be so helpful! i’d use it for my girlfriends’ weddings, for my kids’ and friends’ birthdays, for dessert table decor… for everything!!

  132. Victoria | February 25, 2010 at 7:22 pm

i’d use it for making invitations and thank you cards… not very original, but i’m sure more ideas would come to mind!

  133. Leanne | February 25, 2010 at 7:26 pm

We’ll use this to make quick work of our save the dates and programs, and whatever other paper projects pop up!

  134. Carla | February 25, 2010 at 8:20 pm

OH MY GOSH!!! I never even knew this kind of tool existed!!! I am making ALL paper items for my wedding… invitations, maps, RSVP cards, Menu’s, table seating… even some ‘translation cards’ for my non-spanish speaking friends…. all with different layers of paper… this would save me tons of time…. WOO!

  135. Erin | February 25, 2010 at 9:13 pm

What a cool tool. Can’t wait to try it out. Seems like a must have for DIY invites

  136. Stephanie Protz | February 25, 2010 at 10:39 pm

I make custom invitations for all of my friends an family for all of their events. I will never have to “eyeball it” again.
