Book Giveaway #3

Posted by Khris in Contests

Since I’m abandoning you this week I’m opening up a new giveaway for my book, The DIY Bride: 40 Fun Projects For Your Ultimate One-of-a-Kind Wedding.

I have 2 copies of the book to give away. Just leave a comment in response to this post between now and Monday, 2/18. I’ll pick 2 random winners on Tuesday.

**I ask that only brides-to-be (and grooms, too) enter the contest, please. Since they’re the ones in the most need of the info & inspiration in the book, I strongly feel they’re the ones who should have the opportunity to win a copy. Thanks for your understanding!**

Good luck!

Hello! I am getting married June ’09, and would absolutely LOVE this book!!! We’re on such a tight budget, and I’ve dreamed of this day since I was little…to be able to make it beautiful even on a budget by doing DIY projects would be a dream come true!!! I am 22 years old, all I’ve ever wanted was to get married, and have kids…but I’m having trouble even coming up with ideas since our computer keeps being so slow (my dad is supposed to try to fix it soon), and I really can’t afford all the expensive bridal magazines or anything to find ideas…can you help? Even if I don’t win the book, if you could email me anything advice that would be great. Getting married in Chicago can be so expensive, it’s overwhelming…but I think I can pull it off if only I could get some help. Thank you so much!!!! And if I won, I’d be forever grateful!!!

    Sincerely,
    Lindsay Anderson

P.S. If I don’t get picked, congratulations to the couple that does. :) And thank you for holding this contest, it’s so sweet of you!!!

I would certainly appreciate any opportunity to help me with ideas for our wedding. As the responsibility is on me to pay for the wedding. I’m doing all I can to save and “personalize” our special day. I thank you for the chance to make our day extra special.

Thanks so much for all your great ideas! I would love to have a copy of your book!! I’m getting married in May 09. I’m a medical student and so not creative and your book of ideas would be amazing for my fiance, Joe and I.

I saw your book at a local book store a couple weeks ago and I was very intrigued. The advice and projects look great, and there are a few that I am interested in (specifically, the cufflinks for the groomsmen and my fiance, and programs and seating charts). I didn’t buy the book that day because I’m busy with some other projects and work right now, but I think some of your projects will help us to get organized.

I’d love a copy of you book! I am planning a September wedding that will take place outdoors at a summer camp, and my partner and I are really interested in making the event a meaningful, unique, fun, and not ridiculously expensive good time. Your book would be a huge help!
