No vintage wedding affair is complete with the one of the most iconic symbols of yesteryear beauty: the black and white photo.

There are endless possibilities to incorporating these easy to make details into your wedding day. Whether you want to showcase your engagement photos, childhood photos, or even the photos of those marriages that came before you (Grandma & Grandpa have some great ones!), here are a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing.

1)    Votive Candles

Use affordable Dollar Store vases, print your photos on vellum, and attach with double sided tape. Not only can you put candles (fake battery operated is best with this kind of project), but you can also use these for adorable vases to hold flowers.

2)    Create a Monogram Collage

What better way to celebrate your new last name than by displaying your new monogram large and proud? This easy craft makes a great statement and a beautiful decoration for either the ceremony or reception. Use childhood photos, family photos or even engagement pictures.

3)    Centerpieces

These mason jars are unique and classy, making for a great centerpiece at your reception. Simply put your photo inside and add vegetable oil. Just make sure to seal tightly.

Why just use numbers for your tables when each table can have it’s own picture? Not sure what to use? How about dual pictures of you and your fiancé at different ages? It would definitely be a hit with your family.

5)    Wedding Favors

Black and white photos are a great way to decorate your wedding favors. Either print them on bags, make adorable tags, or even create your own envelopes. If you don’t want to use your own photos, consider picking old time-y scenes or even just scenery to help achieve the affect you want.
