Home Wedding Planning Product Review {Product Review} My Yume Experience: 100% Botanical and Vegan Body Chiffon

Yume Blush (pronounced “you-me”) is a hot new product which I had the pleasure of sampling recently.  It’s not what you think – it’s not makeup; it’s a fabulous (really, I mean AMAZING) moisturizer.  If you’re on the hunt for a gift your bridesmaids will love, I highly recommend Yume Blush.

Head to your nearest Whole Foods to purchase Yume Blush in one of many delicious flavors (yes, this stuff is edible!):

  • Apple Raspberry
  • Orange Vanilla
  • Lavender Honey
  • Lavender Lemon
  • Chocolate Raspberry
  • Coconut Lime

Or, you can purchase a sample pack of four 1/2-ounce jars for $29.95 from YumeBlush.com.  This is the same sample pack I have, and let me tell you, I’m sold.

I tried the Apple Raspberry, Orange Vanilla, and Lavender Lemon.  I loved them all, but the Apple Raspberry was probably the most unique.  I’d love to try the Chocolate Raspberry and Coconut Lime!  I’ll be on the hunt next time I’m at Whole Foods.

What makes Yume Blush different (0ther than the amazing flavors!) is it’s 100% botanical and vegan.  Have you ever looked at the ingredients in a bottle of lotion?  It always strikes me as odd to see alcohol listed in the ingredients because alcohol dehydrates the skin.  There’s no alcohol in Yume Blush.  They use 100% pure essential oils and no preservatives.  Check out the benefits and ingredient list here: http://www.yumeblush.com/benefits.html

It’s safe to put all over your body, even in the most intimate places.  I used it on my legs after shaving and on my tattoos.  It didn’t leave any sticky or greasy residue on my hands or skin, and it left my skin feeling like silk all day long.  My only criticism is that I didn’t like it as a face lotion, but that’s because my skin tends to be oily naturally.  For everywhere else, I wouldn’t hesitate to use Yume Blush.

The product claims to help psoriasis, eczema, and other skin problems, so I shared a sample jar with a neighbor who has children with eczema.  She had nothing but positive feedback!  In her opinion, Yume Blush shares the same high-quality characteristics of the popular Cetaphil brand yet has the added benefit of being 100% botanical and vegan.  She added that she preferred the Yume Blush product over Bath and Body works lotions and body butter because of the light, airy texture.

Yume Blush is for everyone.  There’s not a girl in the world that wouldn’t love this stuff. Get it for your bridesmaids; get it for you.
