Stephen and Elizabeth had a warm, rustic autumn ceremony and reception at a small 1900′s church in their hometown. Working with a tight budget like many couples are, they opted for a vintage country feel for their wedding and made it come to life in a multitude of ways.
The bride worked closely with her sister to create her veil, the fabric garlands, floral arrangements, and other elements of decor. The bride’s dress was a vintage piece, and the groom wore an outfit he already had in his closet. For the reception, dinner was created by the couple’s friends and the pies on the dessert table were even part of a silent auction! The wedding party also participated in a fun donut-eating contest before dancing the night away with the rest of the guests.
