[UPDATE: The winners have been chosen - Esther C., Michelle K., Brooke B., Jenna D, Becky (w.vavfleet email). All have been notified via email.]
Hey DIYers!
We’ve teamed up with the lovely folks at Envelopments to bring you an opportunity to win one of 5 JIGsters. The JIGster is, hands-down, one of our top product recommendations for anyone who’s doing layered invitations and stationery.
What Is The JIGster? It’s a tool that allows you to quickly and easily create perfectly aligned layers on stationery. It’s such a wonderful time (and sanity) saver and I, honestly, can’t imagine making any layered projects without it since I got mine a little over a year ago.
Here’s the JIGster in action. Behold its awesomeness.
The JIGster has recently been revamped: it’s lighter, has more measurement/border size options, and even came with a lower price. To celebrate the re-release, Envelopments is offering you, our uber-crafty readers, an opportunity to get your hands on one of these cool tools.
But there’s a catch. We ask that the winners share pictures of their completed projects with us and tell us how they liked using the JIGster. Easy, right?
HOW TO ENTER: Between now and December 14, please leave a comment to this post telling about the project(s) you’re thinking of making with the JIGster.
WINNERS will be chosen by random draw on 15 December. Prizes will be shipped directly from Envelopments.

I would love to make baby announcements for my friends and family! This would save a whole lot of trouble measuring and working to make the perfect arrangement!
I am in the process of designing my wedding invitations, rsvp.s, programs, menus etc. and this would be so helpful when it is time to assemble them
I would use this SO MUCH in making all of my DIY save the dates, invitations, announcements, thank you cards. And probably after that as well. Great product!
I’ve got two birthday’s coming up, my parents 40th anniversary, and a bunch of weddings and this would make assembling sooo much easier!
ADMIN’S NOTE: Please remember that there is only 1 ENTRY PER PERSON. We will delete, disqualify, and ban those that enter multiple times to keep our contest fair for all.
I’m designing my own invitations for our wedding to save money. Winning this would be awesome! Having this took would be such a time saver for me. The JIGster would help me to create professional looking invitations. Its perfect for a DIY Budget Bride like me!
I’d use it to make holiday invitations and help with my friend’s invitations – it would be quite the inspiration!
I would love to make my best friend’s bridal shower invitations with this.
I’m planning on making my own wedding invitations for a September 2012 wedding as well as door hangers for visiting guests. My best friend is also getting married next June so I’ll be doing her bridal shower and bachelorette invites!
Having assembled layered invites before and finding it sooo hard to get them lined up I’d love to use this for my DIY invites and announcements we will be making soon. I need this! It will also help with invitations for my daughters birthday parties and the inevitable family picture Christmas cards
Oh boy, if I won this it would help me make the center pieces, flowers, save three dates, formal invites, place cards, table numbers, chocolate boxes, itinerarys, and about 90 percent of my decorations.
I’m an invitation designer and would LOVE this amazing tool for help with assembly! I am assembling a big wedding in January (350 invites with double layers) and it would make it go faster AND look so perfect.
I have very big plans for the jigster. First and foremost would be my engagement party an wedding invitations. Secondly, it would be used multiple times for the numerous events that I host (I’m an event planner). Lastly, it would be for my holiday cards!!
I LOVE anything crafty and the jigster would take me to an entirely new level. xoxo
Esther
In addition to using this for my save the dates and wedding invitations for my upcoming wedding, I plan to use the jigster for cards I regularly send to my family and friends. I just moved across the country, and have started the tradition of sending monthly cards to everyone. I find its much more personal than email, and designing and crafting my own cards adds a nice touch!
I have always loved working with paper, and in the past have relied on rulers and luck to align my creations. The Jigster would certainly help in this respect; particularly as I prepare to tackle some of the most exciting cards of my life: my wedding invitations! Oh happy crafting!
I’ve been working on building up my stationery design business over the past two years which has gone really well, but now that I’ve got a little baby girl at home with me, I’m really looking to ramp it up so that I could transition to working at home full time and spending time with my little gal. The Jigster looks amazing and would be so helpful in speeding up my assembly process with my clients thus letting me take on more volume! Good luck to all who enter!
Jen
We’re planning on doing our own wedding invitations, rsvps, programs and menus. (Can you tell we’re ambitious at this early date!) This would be a huge help with creating beautiful paper crafts. Thanks for introducing me to Jigster. I wish we had one when my sister and I did her wedding invitations!
The better question is… What won’t I use the Jigster for this year? Projects for 2012:
* Family/photos Valenties Day cards (We do this instead of X-mas)
* Wedding Save the Date
* Wedding Invitations
* Invitations to our annual Halloween party
* Countless showers, parties and weddings for friends and family.
What a great product!
I am getting married during the summer of 2012 and am in the midst of starting to create my invitations. I am making them myself and it would be wonderful to have the JIGster to help instead of using my ruler. I also love paper and artsy things, so I know I would use the JIGster in the future!
Wow! I had never heard of this product before but after watching the demo, I am thinking about all of the things I could make with it. I am a preschool teacher and I do wedding planning on the side so crafts are an everday part of my life. I am also currently planning my own wedding and will be making my own invitations and other printed materials. The JIGster would save SO much time with that. I would love to receive one of these and start putting it to work.
I LOOOOOOVVVVVVVEEEEEE this !!!!! I would make Holiday invites,Tags to go on gifts , my wedding invites, my kids Birthday banners ,My wedding Banner,Bridal Shower Banner, Save the dates,My candy buffet labels,Layer my photos before I place them in my picture frames, I could use the JIGster for many projects at work with my students,My escort cards etc. I can go on forever what I could do with JIGster. The JIGster is simple yet brillant and would save me much needed time ! This is so great for a diy bride like me ; )
My fiancee and I are having a DIY-heavy wedding.
One of the major projects will be all of our paper goods. My fiancee will be designing the suite, we are having custom letterpress plates made, and creating our own letterpress pieces using the Liftstyle Crafts tool. Winning this would help us take all of our pieces to the next level! Even if we don’t win, I am very happy I saw this post to find out about this Envelopments product.
I’d love to use this for making fancy cards to send to family and friends!
My fiancée and I are both students trying to save money by making the invitations ourselves. She’s wonderfully crafty and rather headstrong, so she doesn’t want to buy the tools to make her life easier. I’d love to give her a Jigster to help her out! Hopefully it will save her time so we can spend less time on wedding projects and more time together!
I would love to have this for my wedding announcments!! I have a strict budget for my wedding so i have to do everything by myself…this would help me save money if i had this!
It’s all about Thank-You cards for me!!!
This would make assembling invitations a breeze as I design all kinds of invitations on the side.
Christmas cards that are layered paper with a 3D/pop out snowflake inside!
How about EVERYTHING?! Wedding invitations, menus, programs, place cards, thank you cards… And that is just for my wedding.
My budget requires me to make all those things myself anyway.
I would make my wedding invites for sure! I can also see menus, programs, save the dates… engagement party invites! I’d love to have as much DIY in my wedding as possible (and my budget will thank me!).
Considering I will be in two weddings while simultaneously planning my own, I think it’s safe to say I will get some use out of this tool.
I had never heard about the jigster until I read about it in the contest. As an up and coming custom crafts designer in the very beginning stages of my business. This would help me make an array of things. I could use it to make greeting cards, save the dates, wedding invitations, thank you cards, note cards, place cards, table numbers the list could go on and on. It’s design would save me a lot of time and supply an even better outcome of accuracy and a clean cut crisp look with of my projects.
Thank you for reading my entry….
Meagan
I plan on making any and all paper goods for my wedding. I would also love to use this tool to help any of my friends who have invitation needs.
What would I not do with this!!? To start with save the dates, the invites, programs, thank you cards, invitations. Bring it on!
I’d make some really cool Christmas cards!
I would use the jigster for making greating cards and also place cards at dinners and receptions.
I am getting married in May and am planning to do DIY invitations. This would be perfect for the multiple layers I am planning on doing for both my wedding and bridal shower invites! Then after the wedding hopefully one day baby shower invites!
thinking of the many cute and cuddly cards i could have my grandaughters help make. could also introduce their girlscout troop to use to make season greeting cards for shut-ins.

I am actually about to do my own wedding invitations using the Envelopments line. They have some pretty great stuff in general, so being able to use this would be perfect. I can also use this with other craft and school projects; masters of architecture student, so I definately need to be thrifty!
I would love to win this to help me DIY my wedding ivitations! After the wedding i could use it for friend’s weddings and holiday cards.
I often make cards and invites for myself and for friends/family. I would love this sweet time saver–I can’t even count how many cards I ruined with adhesive while trying to “eyeball” things!
Wish I had this awesome tool for my DIY wedding invites! Super easy to use, takes all the guesswork out of lining up those layers!
I love making cards and my brother just asked if I would direct his wedding meaning invitations PLUS I will be making my daughters soon as well. I also have a few baby showers and 4 birthday invitations in the next 2 months.
I am a stay at home mom and only have one left in the home so I am trying to keep myself sane by crafting! I’ve already helped with 2 small weddings and would love to hopefully be able to make this a small business. This would just be an amazing product that would help me achieve my dreams!
Thank you for the opportunity to sign up!
