Purchasing GuidelinesWe believe that every part of our site, including the ads, should be consistent with the overall user experience. All ads we electto run on our site adhere to our editorial policy, privacy policy, and terms of service to help keep our site free of intrusive, offensive, or off-topic content. DIY Bride reserves the right to reject or remove advertising that we deem contrary to our ad philosophy. 1. Accounts • Advertisers may create only 1 ad account per company they represent. Multiple accounts for multiple companies are allowed. 2. Ad Copy and Image Content • Ads must directly relate to the content on the landing page. • Ads must clearly represent the company, product, or brand that is being advertised. • Ad images that contain a URL must link to that same URL. • Ads cannot contain audio or video that plays automatically, without a user's consent. • Ads cannot include any content that infringes upon the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other personal or proprietary right. • Ads cannot be deceptive or fraudulent about any offer made. 2. Destination URLs • Landing pages cannot generate a pop-up (including "pop-overs" and "pop-unders") when a user enters or leaves the page. • Landing pages cannot use "fake" close behavior, mouse trapping, or any other behavior meant to prevent the user from leaving the page. • Landing pages may not redirect to URLs that are not part of the advertiser's landing page domain. 3. References To DIY Bride • Ads may make limited references to "DIY Bride" in its title, body, or image for the purposes of clarifying the destination of the ad. • Ads may not imply any endorsement of the product, service, or ad destination by DIY Bride. • Ads may not use the DIY Bride trademark for any purpose not described above. 5. Prohibited Content • Ads must not be false, misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive. • Ads cannot contain, promote, or reference any of the following: 1. Offensive, profane, vulgar, obscene or inappropriate language; 2. Hate speech, whether directed at an individual or a group, and whether based upon the race, sex, creed, national origin, religious affiliation, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or language of such individual or group; 3. Content that advocates against any organization, person, or group of people, with the exception of candidates running for public office; 4. Obscene, defamatory, libelous, slanderous and/or unlawful content; 5. Scams, illegal activity, pyramid schemes, or chain letters; 6. Adult content, including nudity, sexual terms and/or images of people in positions or activities that are excessively suggestive or sexual, or provocative images in violation of community standards; 7. Adult friend finders or dating sites with a sexual emphasis; 8. Any non-wedding or non-crafting-related content. |
