I was actually quite surprised by the Boxcar review – and that it was overall rather positive – as the letterpress community’s attitude towards the L Letterpress has been largely negative. Harold & crew should be applauded for staying open-minded and being willing to try it out first hand. To see a well-respected player in the letterpress industry be open to this machine and for them to offer advice on using it is wonderful. I hope the L Letterpress brings them some nice revenue through their custom plate program and that the exploration of the L Letterpress brings a greater appreciation of letterpress to the masses. There can never be too much letterpress on the market!
