I’ve personally used 2Groses.com and they were awesome. FlowerBud and FiftyRoses have gotten high marks from our readers in the past. Sam’s Club also has received some props from our peeps.

I’ve used 2G roses three times for mostly roses and calla lilies and have been very happy with them.

My sister-in-law just had her wedding in Kansas City and she ordered from RoseSource. The flowers were beautiful.

I used Whole Blossoms for my wedding and was completly DISAPPOINTED. I ordered Lilly of the Valley in late April. The flowers arrived on Thursday (most wholesale florist recommend this) and by the time I awoke on Friday morning they were completly wilted over, brown and dead. I did not contact Whole Blossoms until I got back from my destination wedding. They refused to refund me the money saying that the 100% guarantee is good FOUR hours after the flowers arrive and since they arrived in good condition they have no obligation to compensate me. If I would have contancted them within four hours they would have required me to send a picture of the dead flowers to them before they would continue with replacement. Apparently they have never married before b/c there is a million things to do a day before a wedding and snapping pics of dead flowers was not high on my list. Finding a replacement bouquet was. How ridiculous is that? If I would have known that ahead of time I would not have purchased from them. The four hour rule is buried in the tiny fine print on a separate link from the gigantic 100% guarantee on their website. It was a rather horrible experience as I was left to find a new bouquet the day before my wedding and was out a large sum of money for a flower I did not even get to use. Just thought I would share my experience with you and recommend to NOT BUY from this company.

Thank you Kate! I was considering on ordering garden roses from Whole Blossoms. I’m very sorry to hear about your bouquet. They don’t know the pressure and stress we are going through to put the whole wedding together. Kate, I hope everything went well for your wedding.

Anyone know… is The Flower Exchange good? I just chatted with one of their online specialist, she said if I place orders with her, she can give a discount.

Do you know if any of these offer quality silk flowers?

Has anyone used Grower’s Box for flowers? I’m considering one of their pre-arranged packages (the calla and orchid combo) and wanted to see if this was a wise decision. Thanks

hi, i work for a company that sells the flowers to the florist. Be careful on these kind of sites. I was reading over some of them and the picture they show is not the same flower description they give. In most cases people don’t know the difference in spray roses and regular roses. Some of the pictures showed regular roses and the description was spray roses, which is completely different!!! Why not just use your local florist?! Lots of florist are closing down just for this reason This is really not any cheaper, it may look like it but it’s really not. So for people who decide to use these sites just BEWARE!!!!

Brides, think about using local flower growers. We are just about everywhere these days. Youl’ll get much fresher, ‘greener’ flowers. As well as helping the local economy. I often spend hours helping brides pick out just the right flowers. Use http://www.ASCFG.org (Assoc. Cut Flower growers) or the local Chamber of Commerce, Local Harvest, or a local farmers listing, Many of us also do flower arranging/ design work.
