It’s that time of year, my friends. Let the trend forecasting for 2007 begin!
I was quoted in a fab “Hot or Not” article at the most excellent FavorIdeas.Com Blog this week along with wedding experts Terrica Skaggs, Linnyette Richardson-Hall, and Kimberley Petyt.
I’m curious what those of you actually planning a 2007 wedding think. Did we hit the mark? Are we seeing what you’re seeing? What’d we miss?

Yes, I know my updates have been a little, um, lax for the past several weeks. I do apologize. The holidays were hectic and the book took far more energy and resources than I ever expected. There was little time left for diybride but things are starting to change. The book is nearly done (waiting for some edits to come back) and the holiday insanity is now behind us. I can get back on track with the wholesome weddingy goodness that is DIYBride.
I’m working on new material for the site. I’ll be posting some video tutorials soon and there’s a whole bunch of new projects on the way in the coming weeks.
